Germany is on the way to the top of the world - Number One in Europe and Number Two worldwide
Congress and meetings destination Germany displays increasing levels of buoyancy and achieves this major result for the fourth year in succession.

Germany is the European Market Leader when it comes to meetings and congresses. This has been confirmed once again by the current ‘International Association Meetings Market 2007’ study released by the International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA). Germany has achieved the lead position in Europe for the fourth year in succession and second place worldwide. Spain, in fifth place last year, has passed by England and France into third place.

German meetings industry representatives should not only be joyous about this continuity of excellent performance but also about their clear upwards trend: the gap between Germany and global leader U.S.A. has closed, whereas the distance between Germany and its other competitors has increased. And in the international city ranking: Berlin, last year at position number five, has taken a great leap forward to second place.

The SevenCenters of Germany and the continuing development of their congress business have been the decisive factor in ensuring this position.

IMEX and SevenCenters "Stammtisch" 2008
Again, the SevenCenters of Germany participated in this year´s IMEX in Frankfurt with their own stand. All partners were present with their sales teams and were able to meet with scores of clients, make many new contacts, and exchange business information.

After the first day at the show, original Frankfurt cooking was served at the "Steinerne Haus" - an inn with tradition near the famous "Römer". Later on in the evening, the music of DJ Rob Williams made sure that one could dance the night away at the fabulous cim clubbing event, co-sponsored by the SevenCenters of Germany.

SevenCenters at EIBTM 2008
Again, the marketing cooperation of the biggest German congress centers will take part at EIBTM in Barcelona from 2nd to 4th December, 2008.
