Kölcsey Convention Centre is the largest, most modern and the most well-equipped such center in Eastern-Hungary. It was built on an area of 13,000 sqm/140,000 sqft and comprises a grand hall with a capacity of 800 visitors and 8 section halls. Szeged Congress and Information Centre – Szeged University
The Congress Centre was handed over in December 2004. This extraordinary venue, unique in the region, plays host to national and international conferences, university and business events, as well as cultural and charitable programmes (concerts, exhibitions), receptions and balls. The Centre, with a seating capacity of more than 1,300 persons also has a Congress Hall which accomodates 685 persons, three large lecture rooms, three seminar rooms, a video conference room, exhibition space of 170 sqm/1,830 sqft and an Atrium of more than 1,000 sqm/10,765 sqft.
