Malta at EIBTM 2013 Stand E45
The Malta Tourism Authority and its trade partners will be participating in EIBTM, the Global Meetings & Events Exhibition, between the 19 – 21st November in Spain. We look forward to meeting you on the Malta Stand (E45).

Malta offers much more than just an overseas business trip, where delegates are rushed from the hotel to the meeting room to the dining venue for more shop-talk in a ubiquitous setting. Visitors at the Malta Stand (E45) will be able to enjoy Malta's renowned hospitality, with delicacies being served at the stand as a small entrée to the 'Maltese Experience'.

MaltaThe Maltese Islands were established as a meetings venue long before the advent of tablets, smartphones and WiFi-enabled laptops! The pre-historic temples in Malta, Mnajdra and Hagar Qim (which translated from Maltese literally means 'standing stones'), the much sought-after Hal-Saflini Hypogeum, as well as the Ggantija Temples in Gozo were utilised for ritualistic meetings by one of the world's most ancient civilisations. These UNESCO World Heritage Sites date back to around 5,000 BC and are the oldest freestanding temples in the world.

It's not just the general atmosphere that is alluring - the climate itself also plays its part. Take your delegates from a frosty winter to our temperate Mediterranean climate in a matter of a three-hour flight, accessible through the main European gateways.

Interested in what we have in store for you? Visit the Malta Stand at EIBTM E45 and meet the Malta Tourism Authority and its co-exhibitors, to discuss the Conference & Incentive solutions which our suppliers can develop, tailored to suit your particular event requirements.

In order to deliver superior service to corporate buyers when visiting the Maltese archipelago, the Meetings Industry segment within the Malta Tourism Authority run a Quality Assurance scheme for DMCs (Destination Management Companies) in collaboration with the Quality Assurance department within this same authority. The Quality Assured seal recognises DMCs committed to high levels of quality, consistency and professionalism ensuring the highest possible quality in event and destination management.
