China: Kempinski Hotels Opens Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan in the Old Dragon City
Kempinski Hotel TaiyuanKempinski, Europe's oldest luxury hotel group, unveiled its 19th mainland hotel today in Taiyuan, China. As the first international five-star hotel in the city, Kempinski presents brand new luxurious concepts through modern facilities, superb European service and international gourmet offerings in the center of the Dragon City.
The hotel features 363 rooms and suites, all of which are contemporarily designed and range from 40/410 sqft to 217/2,220 sqft sqm in size. On the seventh floor, the fitness center offers high-tech facilities, a 25-meter indoor heated swimming pool and the spa. Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan features 14 meeting and function rooms that cater to groups from 10 to 100 guests. All meeting and function rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, built-in screens and feature either natural daylight or unique lighting systems.

Estonia: Hilton Worldwide Set To Enter Estonia With The Hilton Tallinn

Set to open in the heart of Estonia's historic capital, Hilton Tallinn becomes Hilton Worldwide's first property to be announced in the Baltic States, expected to begin welcoming guests in 2016 and will be located just a few minutes' walk from the historic old town and major commercial areas of the city. The new build hotel will offer 202 guest rooms and suites, as well as facilities including a business center, fitness center, spa with indoor swimming pool and an outdoor sun terrace, an all-day dining restaurant, a private dining room and lobby bar. The medieval old town of Tallinn was granted UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 1997 and has been gradually building its profile as one of Europe's leading city break destinations. Well preserved cobbled streets with historic townhouses now feature fashionable shops and lively cafes. Hilton Tallinn will open within walking distance of Tallinn's business district, as well as the Estonian National Opera House, Kumu Art Museum of Estonia and the Presidential Palace.

Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) had launched the MTD++ (Malaysia Twin Deal++) to support Tourism Malaysia's goal to increase the international corporate meeting and incentive groups during Visit Malaysia Year 2014 campaign. The program entitles international groups of 50+ delegates to enjoy several value-added benefits. MTD++ collaborates with 31 hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Sabah, Penang and Sarawak to provide value-added perks like discounts on free welcome amenities and package rates. MTD++'s aim is to provide additional interesting options and ideas for planners. The program is valid for confirmed bookings made between September 1 and December 31, 2013 for arrival in 2014.

Thailand: Bangkok's heritage post office - an event venue
Grand Postal Building, BangkokIMPACT Exhibition Management secured the management contract from Thailand Post for the 80-year-old Grand Postal Building in Bangkok. The recently restored landmark was officially opened on August 4 by Thai princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The Grand Postal Building will continue its postal service but will serve as an event venue at the same time. This historic building is truly a unique venue. The building offers over 3,000sqm/31,000 sqft of floor space on two levels. The Postal Heritage Hall on the ground floor can seat a maximum of 576 people in classroom-style and 440 participants in banquet-style. The 80-seat Manorah Thai Restaurant, due to be ready end of the year, will also be available for events. The new venue offers the latest Wi-Fi technology.
