General Description Meeting & Exhibit Facilities

Meeting Rooms

Five versatile Committee Rooms can accommodate from 20 to 200 delegates. The several boardrooms adjacent to The Ballroom and The Bill Gallagher Room can accommodate from 10 up to 180 delegates. The magnificent Bill Gallagher Room is ideal for press conferences and gala dinners and can accommodate 400 guests for cocktails. The sophisticated ambiance of the magnificent triple‑volume Ballroom is created by its uninterrupted space and its immense, hand‑woven wall coverings, and is suitable for grand occasions, such as dinner for up to 1,500 or a conference of 2,000 delegates in cinema seating or 1,000 in classroom.


For a spectacular concert or live theater production for 4,500, the Pavilion will be the most suitable venue. This uninterrupted space on the top level has overhead rigging for the latest theater and audio technology. The Pavilion rests on an architectural‑award‑winning, specially engineered "floating" floor, which substantially enhances acoustic quality.


The two exhibition levels have a combined floor space of 10,000 sqm/1,076,390 sqft, which can accommodate 500 3m x 3m (9.8 x 9.8 ft) stands in various configurations. Each level has a separate access route to street level docking and loading areas. Exhibition 2 has the added advantage of an adjacent, between levels restaurant gallery overlooking from one side. Ceiling height is 6.5 m/21.3 ft in both halls, suitable for overhead rigging fixtures, electrical points and telecommunication links.

Pens, notepads, water, mints, lectern, audio‑visual equipment, projectors, in‑house catering, teleconference, flipcharts, video projectors, Internet access, ISDN line. Each meeting room is provided with standard equipment. However, we can supply any material upon request.
