Surely you know that Brazil is a unique country, with breathtaking destinations and attractions. But there are many other things you may not know and that make Brazil a very special place to experience unforgettable moments. The mix of races makes Brazil a country with a culture that is both rich and unique. The miscegenation started between Indians, Africans and Portuguese, but soon after other people came from around the world. The result was a happy people, open to everything new, that you can only find in Brazil.

Brazil is internationally known for carnival, soccer and for tourist attractions like Corcovado, the Amazon, Pantanal and Iguazu Falls. But like its people and its culture, the country’s options are diverse and exciting. In cities like Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Salvador, visitors have at their disposal a wide range of cultural options such as museums, quality cuisine and music of all styles ‑ from folk to classical. Those who insist on learning about our culture can enjoy popular festivities that reveal much of the history, art and wealth of the Brazilian people. There are options for all tastes: Bumba‑meu‑boi in the North, festivals of European influence in the South and, of course, carnival in Rio de Janeiro ‑ the biggest celebration on the planet.

Nature in Brazil deserves special attention, with several ecological parks and ecosystems: the Amazon rain forest, savannas in the northeast, the Atlantic forest in the Southeast, Pantanal (wetlands) in the Central‑West and pampas in the South. Moreover, in cities like Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro you can visit botanical gardens that blend their historic value with Brazilian biodiversity. As you may have already seen, Brazil is an amazing country! Come celebrate life here!
MICE in Brazil

Brazil more than contributes its fair share to the MICE industry. According to ICCA, it's been ranked among the ten most important destinations for MICE. With 275 events held in 2010 Brazil it is on a promising way to becoming one of the major MICE countries.
The largest country in Latin America and the fifth largest country in the world will not only host the World Cup in 2014 and the Olympic Games in 2016, but is well on the way to reaching a new stage of its promotion as a global destination. Large investments into the constructions of congress centers and new hotels are therefore expected to improve its position of Brazil on the MICE world map and to boost even more MICE tourism.
