Adnan Saygun Culture & Art Centre

Ahmed Adnan Saygun Arts Center marks a new beginning in the artistic and cultural life of Izmir and it is a clear sign of the initiative taken by Metropolitan Municipality of Izmir that is to turn the city into an international center for arts and culture. Marked by renovated historical buildings at the entrance, the spacious courtyard of the center will host outdoors activities such as exhibitions. There are five galleries ready to host the most renowned items of art. Total surface of the galleries are 1,060 sqm/11,410 sqft. The jewel of the center is the concert hall. Every detail was planned and constructed in order to have a great acoustics in the hall and worldwide famous artist who performed in Ahmed Adnan Saygun Arts Center so far have already accepted that the acoustics of the hall is superb. The minimum seating capacity of the hall is 989 whereby this capacity can be extended to 1129 with different modes of the stage lift.

Ataturk Culture Centre

Receptions up to 800

The center is an important facility where the scientific and artistic activities of both the university and the district of Aegean and Izmir are done. In the center are 2 big halls for 652 and 624 people, the theater hall for 340 people, Aegean Art Hall where meetings for 100 people can be organized as well as small scale displays, 4 seminar halls each for 40 people, wide foyers where receptions of 800 people can be done and Art Gallery of 470 sqm/7,966 sqft where art, ceramic and statue displays can be organized.

Sabanci Culture Palace

‑ founded on land assigned by the University, the palace comprised of two main units, on a closed area of 6,000 sqm/64,590 sqft. The Large Hall offers capacities for 538 person. With its stage where state‑of‑the‑art techniques can be applied and its large foyer area, it is suitable for all kinds of cultural and art events such as plays, opera and ballet performances, concerts and exhibitions. It has an orchestra pit with a removable roof. The Small Hall, with a capacity of 123 people, a 75 sqm/808 sqft stage area and acoustical stage setup, impressive lighting system and seats with orthopedic comfort.

Alsancak Train Station


Built in 1858 to connect Izmir to varios Aegean provinces, Alsancak Train Station is able to host events in the magnificient environment with catering facilities provided by local companies.
