Pueblo Antiguo

Pueblo Antiguo located in San José, was conceived as a way of providing permanent economic support to the Costa Rican National Children´s Hospital. Offers seven different areas for meetings and events. It is a recreation of a Costa Rican village life as it was at the turn of the century, on an area of 12 acres. A center for culture, fun and the conservation of Costa Rican traditions, that allows both foreign and national visitors to better understand our country and its history.

Gold Museum

150 persons

Located in San José, the building has two foyers, ideal for special events such as cocktail parties, dinners and conferences. A tour of all the visual spaces may be scheduled, in order to offer a distinguishing cultural scenario. Composed by the Pre‑Colombian Gold Museum, that holds a extraordinary collection of gold objects which reflect the world view, social structure and gold‑working techniques of the pre‑Columbian age in Costa Rica, the Numismatic Museum presents the evolution of the different means of exchange from 1502 to the present, and the Temporary Exhibition Galleries for exhibitions on visual arts.

CENAC & Antigua Aduana

CENAC opened in 1994 and run by the Culture Ministry to share the joy of art in every way, and Antigua Aduana, re‑built in 2010, are special sites for exhibitions and special events in San José downtown.

Swiss Travel Venues
